Description: Recreational ride: 38.5 mile scenic ride through the Columbia River Gorge on the Historic Columbia River Highway and State Trail from the Gorge Discovery Center and Museum in The Dalles to the Mark O. Hatfield West Trailhead and back.

Draper Hillclimb

Location: Draper, Utah

Description: Water for People presents the Draper SunCrest Hillclimb. 6th Annual Draper Trail Days bike race – 15 miles long, 2,500 feet of climbing! Prizes, shirt (the cool kind), SWAG and lots of great volunteers cheering you on! Proceeds support simple and sustainable water projects for some of the most impoverished people of the world.

Route: Start at the Draper Equestrain Center at 1600 E. 15450 S. and climb up Rambling Road to Traverse Ridge. Climb Traverse to the top of SunCrest, descend to Highland City and climb back to the top!

Tour de Drome

Location: Ogden, Utah

Description: Tour de Drome is a benefit Bike Tour with proceeds going to the future Velodrome to be built as part of the Field House multi-sport complex in Ogden, UT. Participants can choose from 3 fully supported routes from 27 to 104 miles with aid stations every 10 to 20 miles. Lunch will also be provided for registered tour participants. We are also going to have a “Fun Ride” for kids of all ages. The “Fun Ride” bib will allow participants to visit the Ogden Dinosaur Park on May 1st or another date. LAGBRAU – Legacy Annual Bike Ride Across Utah – 10-day option

Location: Moab, Utah

Description: Join us for one of 3 options that take place between August 26th and September 4th in 2010. Considered by many to be “the most scenic bike ride in the world,” you’ll enjoy 2 national parks and an amazing state park on the 3-day ride, or 3 more national parks along with 3 more incredible state parks and 2 national monuments while passing through 4 national forests on the 7-day ride, or all of this and more on the 10-day ride. New last year and back by popular demand, there will be river ride options, mountain bike options while in Moab, the world’s mountain bike headquarters, and very special scenic hikes along the way.

Route: 3 days around Moab: Arches National Park, Dewey Bridge, Canyonlands National Park, then on to Green River, Hanksville, Torrey, Escalante, Cannonville, Panguitch, and ending in Cedar City.

Bikes For Kids 2010

Location: Murray, Utah

Description: Three available rides, 100K, 50k and 5k family ride. Registration fees are $30, $25 and $10/person ($25 for Family of 2+ people) for the respective rides. Rides start at 8:00 and 8:30am. All registration proceeds go to providing 1,000 Utah kids with a new bike and helmet.

Description: A Murray police escorted ride which begins at Intermountain Medical Center on 5121 South Cottonwood St. in Murray, this ride travels down to 4800 South and returns to its origin.

Description: Begins at Intermountain Medical Center on 5121 South Cottonwood St. in Murray, with a turnaround rest stop at 14400 South in Draper, finishing at its origin. The ride includes a Belgium breakfast at the finish provided by Utah Food Service.

Start Time: 8:30 a.m.
Estimated Ride Length: 3½ hrs.
Description: A challenging ride with 3,400 feet of climbing begins at Intermountain Medical Center on 5121 South Cottonwood St. in Murray with its first rest stop at 2700 West at 14400 South in Bluffdale, then continues to La Caille for the second rest stop, going on to Contender Bike Shop in Salt Lake City for a third and final rest stop and then finishes at the starting point. The ride includes five “Tour of Europe” rest stops (1. Murray Rotary Club’s Snack 2. La Caille’s Brunch in France, 3. Contender Energy snacks and 5. Utah Food Service’s Belgium Breakfast).
