Great routes to ride.

West Mountain Loop

Location: Springville, Utah

Description: This Route starts at the Crackell Barrell in Springville, exit 260 on I-15. They share the parking lot with Days Inn. There is very little traffic and the road is very smooth. There is no shoulder but the few cars I encountered were generous and moved to the far right. On the south end of Lincoln Beach Road, it gets a bit confusing. You will get on Lake Road and then South on Main Street. Take the Second left onto 1600 North in Genola.

There are beautiful views on Utah Lake and of these great Orchards. Bring tons of water.

Legacy Parkway Trail

Location: North Salt Lake/Farmington, Utah

Description: This is a new bike path constructed parallel to the new Legacy Parkway in North Salt Lake.

Comment: I really enjoy this route. Very relaxing and peaceful, notwithstanding it’s proximity to some heavy traffic. Virtually flat, with very little elevation gain/loss. Great track to get out and put on some miles. From the North Salt Lake trailhead at Center Street to the end of pavement at Farmington station and back is 23 miles.
