Location: West Jordan, Utah
Description: Help us enjoy the early morning dew and beat the summer heat with an early morning start as we enjoy the Sunrise Dew. This duathlon will challenge your riding skills as you climb up Butterfield Canyon before screaming down to the transition area. You have your choice of two distances long (10k—40k—5k) or short (4m—10m—2m).
Help support the families of juvenile victime of cancer. Hess Cancer Foundation’s mission is to offer aide to the families of juvenile cancer victime for internment expenses.
Distances – Long Distance = 10k run followed by a 40k ride followed by a final 5k run. Short Distance = 4m run followed by a 10m ride followed by a final 2m run.
Starting Times – Registration and Check-in 4:00 Long Distance Start 5:30 am. Short Distance Start 6:30 am
Location – Copper Hills High School 5445 West New Bingham Highway West Jordan UT 84088
Directions – I-15 to Exit 297 West .25 m South on 700 West .75 m West on 7800 South 4 m. Merge onto New Bingham Highway, continue 1.8 miles.
Registration & Check-in – Early registration is encouraged, however registration will be accepted up to the morning of the event. Registration & Check-In will begin Saturday morning at 4:00 am. Early Check-in & Registration will be available Friday evening from 5:00 – 7:30 pm at Copper Hills High School Football Field entrance.
Fees – Early Reg, Adult $45, Youth (17 or under) $30. After July 19 Adult $58, Youth (17 or under) $43.
Safety – All participants will be required to share the road with motorists please exercise caution to protect yourself and others. All participants will be required to wear a helmet while riding their bikes. Drafting and pace lines are not allowed and will result in disqualification.
Waiver – All participants will be required to to sign a waiver during check-in. No one may sign for another participant (except guardians).
