Event Information
The 2013 Tour de Peninsula offers Bay Area families a day of fun, fitness, and healthy family activities. Now in its 22nd year, this ride is one of Northern California’s most fun recreational cycling events/family/social gatherings. During and after the ride, a day of family fun activities takes place in the park, with a children’s playground, barbecuing, picnics, live music, and equally lively conversation. Proceeds benefit San Mateo County Parks Foundation and Bicycle Sunday – car free biking on Cańada Road.

Route Options
Kids/Family Route: A tour of the bike trails in Coyote Point Park – begins at 12 noon
Short Route: For beginner to intermediate cyclists – 20 miles – begins at 8 am
Long Route: For intermediate to experienced cyclists – 31 miles – begins at 8 am
Metric Century: For advanced cyclists – 63 miles (contains short-cut for 56-mile option) – begins at 7 am

Registration & Packet Pickup
Until June 30: Kids 11 and under, free. 12-17 year olds, $20. Adults 18 and over, $45.
July 1—August 1: Kids 11 and under, free. 12-17 years, $25. Adults 18 and over, $50.
Saturday August 3: Sign-Up and Bib pick-up at Talbot’s Cyclery in San Mateo ($25/$50).
Day of Event: Kids 11 and under, free. 12-17 years, $25. Adults 18 and over, $55.Paid Registration for 12 and older includes T-shirt.
ONLINE REG. DEADLINE: August 1 http://www.supportparks.org/tdp/. Ride-day registration is available, beginning at 6:00 am.

Route: Held in the scenic, mellow Coyote Point Park alongside the San Francisco Bay in San Mateo, the TdP is a perennial highlight of the Bay Area’s recreational social calendar. The TdP is a variety of great cycling routes designed for all levels, from young children and first time riders to serious cyclists.
