WWCC Spring Cycling & Triathlon Clinic

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah

Description: A very informative and fun two day clinic with excellent speakers on Friday night with topics on nutrition, bike fit, multisport training and sports psychology. WWCC and USAT representatives will hold an on the road skills clinic, teaching group riding skills, race tactics and triathlon transitions.

Route: Friday evening clinic held at LDS Hospital’s south conference room–registration at 6:00 p.m., seminar begins at 6:30 p.m. Food and freebies provided!

MS150 Training Ride

Location: Murray, Utah

Description: Everyone is welcome! We’ll be riding approximately 40 miles on fairly flat terrain. Start at the Sports Mall parking lot at 8:00 a.m.! See you there!

Route: Heading south on 900 East to Point of the Mountain, then heading North on the frontage road and back to 5600 South with an additional loop on Walker Lane, Murray Holladay Road and back on 6200 South.

Amish Back Roads Bicycle Tour

Location: Hamburg, Pennsylvania

Description: It’s impossible not to fall in love with the lush countryside of bucolic Lancaster County. Visit with and learn about the Old Order Amish and their Mennonite neighbors in a place where Pennsylvania Deutsch is still spoken in the home and English is a second language. You’ll feel the gentler rhythms of an earlier time engulf you as you ride through the rich farmland, past fields still ploughed by draft horses, and into the rolling hills of the Oley and Lehigh valleys. The Amish Back Roads tour includes 5 nights lodging in the best available accomodations along our glorious, winding route. Also included are 6 full breakfasts, 4 dinners, loads of cool sight seeing, our full SAG support with plenty of drinks and goodies to stoke you while you pedal along our marked roads. (Yes, we have cue sheets and where possible, multiple route options, too.) We’ll also take care of all your baggage transportation and give you a folksy t-shirt to help you remember where you’ve been. We hope you’ll come and join us on our Amish Back Roads adventure. Description: This 65 mile (104 km) ride starts in Murray, heads west and south on 27th. It then picks up the southern benches and heads up Wasatch to Sunnyside and then south back to the start.

Ghost Town Century 2008

Location: Tooele, Utah

Description: Join us on a fun ride through some of Utah’s historical Ghost Towns of Yesteryear. This is the perfect ride to start the season. Few hills, mostly flat country, little traffic, the Pony Express trail, and awe inspiring vistas. Keep a watchful eye and you may even see some old miners off in the distance. Keen ears may hear the faint notes of bugles from old Camp Floyd, which was the largest military installation in the United States & the third largest city in Utah. Come, join the ranks of past Ghost Town Riders!

Tour de St. George

Location: St. George, Utah

Description: Come and experience the beauty of the St. George area in the Third Annual Tour de St. George Century. October is a beautiful time in the desert and the weather couldn’t be better. Ride with us around Snow Canyon State Park, Quail Creek Reservoir and Washington County’s newest reservoir, Sand Hollow.

Cycle Camp – 2-hour Ride

Location: Sports Mall, Murray, Utah

Description: An indoor 2 hour option from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., instead of the 1 hour ride available the same day at 7:00 a.m. This ride is for the Sports Mall Cycle Camp Enrollees ONLY. If you are not in Cycle Camp at the Sports Mall, please do not register for this ride. Do not register if you are unsure of your attendance.
