Summit Challenge

Location: Park City, Utah

Description: Ride with us & discover your abilities! Summit Challenge is a benefit ride for the National Ability Center, empowering people of all abilities. Featuring 3 lengths on a fully supported course. 30+ Wounded Warriors & 100+ cyclists with a disability will ride along side you, making Summit Challenge an inspiring ride for everyone. Family activities, live entertainment, food & beverages following the ride. All ages & abilities welcome. Free to individuals with a disability. Official Wounded Warrior Soldier Ride.

Route: 102 Mile, 52 Mile & 18 Mile course
Fully supported with 7 rest stops along the way. Road ride through Park City, Summit & Wasatch counties. 102 & 52 mile rides are beautiful and challenging. 18 mile is moderate & a great ride for kids or families.

BOTOBO 2013

Location: Bozeman, Montana

Description: BOTOBO is a multi-day ultra endurance cycling event. Cyclists will ride 5 consecutive centuries starting in Bozeman Montana and ending in Bountiful Utah.

But, unlike other ‘similar’ rides BOTOBO is NOT a race. BOTOBO is a collaborative sporting event. We take on the challenge of 500+ miles as a community where the ‘win’ is all in the finish and the connections made. We are a family friendly event for riders of ALL experience levels.

Route: Day 1 – Bozeman to West Yellowstone via the Galatin Road, around Lake Hebgen and ending at Henry’s Lake

Day 2 – West Yellowstone to Jackson Hole via Island Park and up over the Teton Pass

Day 3 – Jackson Hole to Montpelier

Day 4 – Montpelier to Brigham City

Day 5 – Brigham City to Bountiful Utah to EPIC after party.

NAMIBikes Utah: The GLMR Century

Location: Spanish Fork, Utah

Description: Join us for the fifth annual Ride for Hope, Healing and Happiness.
Come celebrate life by riding NAMIBikes Utah: The GLMR. Offering 3 marked and supported routes (42 miles, 67 miles and 100 miles). In 2008 an avid cyclist,

Gary Ludlow, was taken by mental illness. We ride in honor of him and to enjoy the great sport that he loved. Proceeds raised go to support the National

Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI Utah). We are turning the tide of perception and helping raise awareness that people living with mental illness need a

community that supports them, their families and their recovery. Mental health issues are real, they are common and they are treatable. We ride to confront

stigma and celebrate the hope of recovery!
NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is the largest grassroots mental health organization in the country We are dedicated to building better

lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. By riding with us, you are ensuring that help and hope are available to the families and

individuals in need.

Mental health issues affect 60 million Americans each year. They are real, they are common and they are treatable. People living with mental illness need a

community that supports them, their families and their recovery. Through a series of cycling events, we are turning the tide of perception. We ride to

confront stigma, and we celebrate the hope of recovery!

FORM A TEAM:
Riders, volunteers and donors can start or join a team, and the process is easily done through your NAMIBikes account, or at time of registration or

donation. Form a corporate team and increase your organization’s visibility as a strong member of the community.

With great prizes and recognition for teams with top fundraising locally and nationally, forming a team is a great way to support NAMI and the GLMR, help

us build our programs in the community and help to fight stigma!

Team Fundraising Rules:
Donations to a team (through a team fundraising page or offline) are split equally among all team members. The amount is added to team members fundraising

account’s and increases
their overall funds raised. Donations to an individual (through an individual fundraising page or offline) benefit only that individual. However,

individual funds are represented in team totals, and top fundraising teams will be rewarded

VOLUNTEER:
NAMIBikes and GLMR events include multiple road distances, family rides, kids events, music, food and more. These are fast-paced and fun events, and we go

nowhere without talented volunteers! Lend a hand! Volunteers are needed to help in the following areas:
* Pre-event planning, setup and sorting
* Road support and rest stop teams
* Medical personnel
* Bike mechanics
* Food service
* Check-in table
* Post-event cleanup and equipment returns

and lake views. Mild hills, low traffic, great country roads.

NAMIBikes Utah: The GLMR Century

Description: In 2008, American Fork cyclist Gary Ludlow succummed to suicide. We ride to honor him, raise awareness and help save the lives of those who suffer from depression and other mental illnesses. Please come and join us for this most worthy of causes.

Mt. Nebo Century Challange

Location: Springville, Utah

Description: The Mt. Nebo Century Challenge is one of Utah’s most challenging road courses. The course was picked for it’s level of difficulty in order to parallel those challenges faced by those it benefits. This ride is no Sunday stroll! Those that participate will push themselves to new levels climbing the Nebo pass, crossing through the Uinta National Forest and climbing to a staggering height of over 9300 feet. So come prepared or stay home!!! It won’t be easy, but it will be worth it.

The Mt. Nebo scenic byway, normally thought of as a quiet and lazy “sunday drive”, will take on a whole new meaning when conquered from the seat of your bike. Take the challenge and ride this memorable route, featuring part of the 2010 Tour of Utah course. Enjoy panoramic views of Utah Valley, the Wasatch Mountains, Utah Lake, and an up close and personal view of Mt. Nebo, the tallest mountain in the Wasatch Range. The course crosses the Uinta National Forest between the cities of Payson and Nephi rising to a staggering height of over 9,300 feet. Leaving Nephi riders pass through beautiful Goshen Canyon, one of Utah’s rare and hidden gems. This is a fully supported charitable ride. MyReason2Ride donates 100% of funds raised to our charitable partners.

Ride for the Angels 2013

Location: Copperton, Utah

Description: Get warmed up for the MS 150 the end of June, come out and ride for these kids, riding for these angels. Your registration fee will include a tee shirt, swag bag, one entry to win a new bike (drawing to be held Saturday at 2:00). Great supported rest stops.

Swiss Miss 2013

Location: Midway, Utah

Description: Come join us for our inaugural women’s ride in beautiful Wasatch and Summit counties Utah. The ride will include three distance options, 30, 65 and 100 miles. Our event will be partnering with Women Beyond Cancer, a charity that seeks to assist those women that have overcome cancer and are seeking to get back involved in daily life functions and challenges.

There will be beautiful scenery, challenging climbs and great fun and camaraderie.

LAGBRAU – Legacy Annual Bike Ride Across Utah 2013

Location: Moab, Utah

Description: Join the Legacy Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Utah which starts in Moab and ends in Cedar City. The LAGBRAU™ has evolved into a 10-day bicycle ride, considered by many to be “the most scenic bike ride in the world.” In the beginning, it started as a 7-day ride through some of the most amazing terrain you have ever witnessed, including 3 national parks. Steve and Carol from Texas called it “the best of the best,” and David from Florida said, “it was the ride of a lifetime!”

After a few years, a 3-day option was added, including 2 more unique national parks and one of the most unbelievable state parks you have ever seen. In 2010, a few signed up for the 3-day option, some signed up for the 7-day option, and over 60% of our participants signed up for all 10 days of this unforgettable and very incredible bicycle adventure. The 10-day route includes riding and hiking in up to 5 distinct national parks, 5 amazing state parks (some ranked very high nationally), 2 national monuments, and a number of national forests and ancient Native American ruins.

Depending on which option you choose, the route will be 152 miles in 3 days, 394 miles in 7 days, or 546 miles in 10 days.
Shuttle options: $100 each for the shuttle fee for any of the following options:
1. Ride from the Durango Airport to Blanding to the beginning and then from Sprindale to Vegas at the end. (2 hours each way)
2. Ride down from Salt Lake to Blanding on Friday August 30th, and then back to Salt Lake form Springdale on Sat. Sept 7th. 5 hour each way.
3. Hook up with us in either Green River or Moab on our way to Blanding on August 30th, and then shuttle back to Green River or Moab on Sept. 7th.
4. Ride over from Cedar City to Blanding on August 30th (6 hours), and then from Springdale to Cedar City on Sept 7th (one hour).

Tour of Heber 2013

Location: Heber City, Utah

Description: Come and ride your bicycle around one of the most scenic valleys in the state as the leaves change to their beautiful fall colors. Slim & Knobby’s Bike Shop is presenting a Heber Valley Century on September 22nd, 2012 that will leave you breathless from the beauty and the challenge. Bike lovers have been riding in Heber in the fall for years and use a ride like the Tour of Heber to cap off the end of their season. Ride options include a full 100 mile century, a metric century of 66 miles and a fun ride of 25 miles. Come challenge and reward yourself with this fun new century that will soon become a favorite among riders of all abilities.

There will be a 30 mile option, a 65 mile option and a 100 mile option available.
