Description: Join us for the fifth annual Ride for Hope, Healing and Happiness.
Come celebrate life by riding NAMIBikes Utah: The GLMR. Offering 3 marked and supported routes (42 miles, 67 miles and 100 miles). In 2008 an avid cyclist,

Gary Ludlow, was taken by mental illness. We ride in honor of him and to enjoy the great sport that he loved. Proceeds raised go to support the National

Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI Utah). We are turning the tide of perception and helping raise awareness that people living with mental illness need a

community that supports them, their families and their recovery. Mental health issues are real, they are common and they are treatable. We ride to confront

stigma and celebrate the hope of recovery!
NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is the largest grassroots mental health organization in the country We are dedicated to building better

lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. By riding with us, you are ensuring that help and hope are available to the families and

individuals in need.

Mental health issues affect 60 million Americans each year. They are real, they are common and they are treatable. People living with mental illness need a

community that supports them, their families and their recovery. Through a series of cycling events, we are turning the tide of perception. We ride to

confront stigma, and we celebrate the hope of recovery!

Registration and Fundraising
Registration fees vary by event but typically range from $45 to $65 (depending on location and distance). All riders receive an event tee shirt and water

bottle.

FORM A TEAM:
Riders, volunteers and donors can start or join a team, and the process is easily done through your NAMIBikes account, or at time of registration or

donation. Form a corporate team and increase your organization’s visibility as a strong member of the community.

With great prizes and recognition for teams with top fundraising locally and nationally, forming a team is a great way to support NAMI and the GLMR, help

us build our programs in the community and help to fight stigma!

Team Fundraising Rules:
Donations to a team (through a team fundraising page or offline) are split equally among all team members. The amount is added to team members fundraising

account’s and increases
their overall funds raised. Donations to an individual (through an individual fundraising page or offline) benefit only that individual. However,

individual funds are represented in team totals, and top fundraising teams will be rewarded

VOLUNTEER:
NAMIBikes and GLMR events include multiple road distances, family rides, kids events, music, food and more. These are fast-paced and fun events, and we go

nowhere without talented volunteers! Lend a hand! Volunteers are needed to help in the following areas:
* Pre-event planning, setup and sorting
* Road support and rest stop teams
* Medical personnel
* Bike mechanics
* Food service
* Check-in table
* Post-event cleanup and equipment returns

Route: ROUTE 1 – Century (100 Miles)
DESCRIPTION: 100 mile scenic loop from Young Living Oils’ Spanish Fork distribution center to Nephi, through farm towns, fruit orchards, scenic mountain

and lake views. Mild hills, low traffic, great country roads.
DEPARTURE TIME: 7:00 am (for all three routes)

ROUTE 2 – Metric Century (67 miles)
DESCRIPTION: 67 mile scenic loop to Mona.

ROUTE 3 – 42 Miles
DESCRIPTION: 42 mile loop to Santaquin
